LOVER’S REALITY @ BERKLEE COLLEGE 5 WEEK SUMMER SHOWCASE

Lover’s Reality is an original composition with music, lyrics and arrangement created by Lóren Littlejohn & Læsio Littlejohn during the first half of 2021. Produced by Lóren, the song Lover’s Realitywas recently performed by one of the Berklee College’s Summer Jazz Workshop Ensembles at the Berklee College Aspire 5 Week Summer Program Showcase in August 2021. This version of Lover‘s Realitywas arranged specifically for this Jazz Ensemble.

BLACK BUTTERFLY

Black Butterfly is an original composition created by Lóren Littlejohn & Læsio Littlejohn in early 2021. Produced by Lóren, the song Black Butterfly was recently used in the project BlackButterfly – A Retrospective on Harlem Renaissance Influencers’ for Lóren’s AP U.S. History class. A performance of this song was recently awarded 1st place in the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated Xi Zeta Omega Chapter and The Ivy Foundation’s 2021 Youth Arts Contest High School Instrumental Music Division.

SOMETIME, REMEMBER ME @ BOOKER T. WASHINGTON SENIOR SHOWCASE

Sometime, Remember Me is an original composition with music and arrangement by Lóren Littlejohn & Læsio Littlejohn during 2021. Lóren produced this piece and plays trumpet and fluglehorn, while Læsio plays double bass and electric bass. Sometime, Remember Me was recently performed by a sextet including students from Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts during the 2021 Senior Showcase. This version of Sometime, Remember Me was arranged specifically for this ensemble.

This song and video were recently awarded 1st place in both The Links, Incorporated local and Eastern Region Young Master’s Competition.
